The Wellcome Library provides access to a significant collection of its own electronic resources for research into the history and progress of medicine. In addition to these, the Library also subscribes to a range of other databases, freely available to any registered user. As well as certain journals being freely available online, subscribed access to various full-text
journals is provided to users of the Library.
Wellcome Library staff have identified and categorised the online resources most useful to anyone undertaking research related to the history and progress of medicine.
