Disruption to some Wellcome Trust websites on 3 - 4 September
Due to essential work on the Wellcome Trust's IT infrastructure the following websites will not be available from 20.00 on Saturday 3 September until 06.00 on Sunday 4 September:

Wellcome Film now online
Wellcome Film digital video is now online via the Wellcome Library catalogue. Around 61 titles have recently been uploaded, including 'Exit Polio' 1961, 'Looking Around' 1952 (a Wellcome cine
magazine), 'Aseptic Operating Theatre Technique' 1933, and 'War Neuroses' 1918. New titles will continue to be added over the next 12 months. (17 November 2008)

Notebooks of unsung hero of childbed fever acquired by Wellcome Library
The Wellcome Library has acquired the notebooks of Dr Robert Storrs, a GP in 1840s Doncaster during a notorious outbreak of childbed fever and cholera in the town. (6 June 2008)
