Procedures for accessing materials

All material from the Asian Collections must be requisitioned and read in the Rare Materials Reading Room. Readers must be in possession of a valid Library Card.

Copying

All copying is carried out at the discretion of the curator. Scanning of manuscripts is not normally allowed. Where scanning cannot be undertaken, material can usually be photographed. Further information about our copying services can be found on the Imaging Services page.
