Digital Curation Workflow [PPT 208KB]

This workflow sets out the steps in working with a Creator/Donor/Lender/Producer to bring born digital material into the Wellcome Library. It roughly follows ISO 20652 - CCSDS 'Producer-Archive Interface Methodology Abstract Standard', but has been adapted/simplified for use by the Wellcome Library. Requirements for a Digital Object Repository [Word 570KB]

In 2008 the Library released a set of requirements for a digital object repository. The aim was to provide the Wellcome Library with a digital object repository system, for which born digital material created or acquired by the Library could be permanently held, managed, and from which that material could be made available to users.
